About six weeks ago, I began a yearlong course with Sharon Blackie called Hagitude. The focus is on the second half of life. While I am at the end of that part of life, there was a hesitation before I joined, and I also really disliked the word “hag.” (Sharon Blackie is a scholar who also wrote If Women Rose Rooted. This community comprises almost a thousand women from around the world. Sometimes it is overwhelming, but I am learning, feeling growth, connection and some wisdom as we travel through the work together. I am also beginning to embrace the word “hag.” I felt compelled to share this today, with love and blessings, with you…especially my hag friends. I hope you enjoy it and may even be called to read the book Hagitude!
